Under 14-

Over the last number of weeks we had 3 under 14 League Games .Firstly we played Caulry. Following a spirited first half against a much bigger and stronger Caulry team, the scoreline was Caulry 4-3 to Tubberclair’s 2-4., with the goals coming from Stephen O' Connor and Rioch Connell. The second half was more one sided with Caulry getting on top and went on to win by 6-15 to 3-6.

The following week we played Moate and this was a more competitive game.Tubberclair played well and got some great scores with Eoghan McCabe being the scorer in chief. Tubberclair lead by 2-3 to 1-4 at half time, the second half started with 2 quick Tubberclair goals to leave them in the driving seat.Tubberclair went on to win by 5-8 to 3-7.There were excellent performances from Simon Fagan, Jamie Blagriff,Thomas O Neill, Eoghan McCabe,Fred Kelliher,Rioch Connell,Keith Rushe.

Our next Game was against Garrycastle in Garrycastle and two evenly matched teams put on a great display of Football. Following a very open first half in which we got goals through Liam Winnett and Rioch Connell to keep us in touch, the jhalf time score wqas Tubberclair 3-2 to Garrycastle’s 1-9.Playing with the breeze in the second half Tubberclair controlled the possession and went into the lead with a goal from Eoghan McCabe and points from Stephen O Connor. However Garrycastle struck back with a goal to keep the game alive and it was touch and go right to the end when substitute Glen Byrne struck for a goal to in the dying seconds to make the game safe for us. The final score was Tubberclair 5-11 to Garrycastle’s 3-13. This was a great team performance and the workrate from our players needs to be commended, our best performers were John Ashe, Sean Claffey,Jack Seery,Stephen McGonigle Stephen O Connor,Liam Winnett,Eoghan McCabe and Stephen Lonergan.PANEL: Simon Fagan,Jamie Blagriff,Sean Claffey,John Ashe,Jack Seery,Keith Rushe, Thomas O Neill, Tadhg Moody,Fred Kelliher, Eoghan McCabe, Stephen O Connor, Stephen McGonigle,Stephen Lonergan,Liam Winnett,Rioch Connell, James Madden, Glen Byrne, Marcus Blagriff, Brian O Meara,Dylan Fagan
